Chore Coat S (discounted)

Sale Price:$535.00 Original Price:$595.00
sold out

This Chore Coat was dyed with madder root extract, it was the first dye bath of the series and I did not record the process. I have since been unable to repeat this color!

Our Chore Coats are made of antique/vintage 100% cotton seamless feed sacks. Seamless feed sacks are a mid-heavy weight fabric, soft, breathable and have a nice drape. They are called seamless feed sacks because they were made in one continuous loop and not sewn up the sides. Originally used as sacks to hold seeds, grains and flours before the creation of plastics. Now they sit on farms in the hundreds and thousands. We wash them thoroughly before making them into clothing for you to wear.

Our Chore Coat is a simple boxy fit. Featuring 2 patch pockets, open one piece arms and snap closures.

Each feed sack was naturally dyed in its own unique and experimental way, all steps were taken to ensure the dye will last and the material has since been washed multiple times.

Printed in butter cream ink by truth lizard

Exact measurements of garment are below listing. Click our size chart here to see how we define our sizing.

Please wash alone or with like colors. Due to the use of natural dye we insist that you use a neutral detergent. Acidic or alkaline detergents may alter the color of the dye! Hang to dry outside of direct sunlight. Iron inside out, do not iron directly on print. Excessive washing and drying will fade the color faster than your typical clothing. If you need help with care instructions feel free to reach out.

discounted due to slight offset printing on back, shown in photos
